Piercing Services
At Body INKorporated, we hold ourselves to the industry's highest standards. We offer a gamut of body piercing services, from the basics to specialty surface projects and intimate piercings. Quality is of the utmost importance to us and our clientele. That being said, all jewelry installed in initial piercings are comprised of implant-grade materials and are internally threaded when applicable. All clients are consulted prior to the piercing procedure to ensure their anatomy is sufficient enough to have the piercing performed. All clients are individually measured for specific jewelry size and style, as to optimize safety, healing and comfort. Each piercing needle is single use, even if multiple piercings are performed on the same client. This ensures maximum needle sharpness- hence less pain and much more comfortable piercing experience. Each piercing needle is sterile in its blister pack and inspected for punctures in the packages after we receive the shipment from the manufacturer they are then disposed of in a bio-hazardous sharps container after each use. Our re-usable piercing instruments undergo a rigorous disinfection and sterilization process. At Body INKorporated, we go to great lengths to ensure the employees, as well as the clients are in the most sanitary atmosphere possible. The piercing instruments are first placed in an instrument tray that is labeled "biohazardous", immediately after the piercing has been performed. The tools are then transported in a covered, steel tray and brought into the sterilization room where the cleaning process begins. The tools are allowed to soak in a disinfectant/surgical instrument lubricant solution and then rinsed clean. They are then hand scrubbed and run through a cycle in the ultrasonic cleaner to remove any debris. The tools are once again rinsed and allowed to air dry before they are individually bagged in sterilization pouches. They are sterilized in a steam-processing autoclave and then the instruments are stored in a clean, dry place. Monthly spore-tests are performed to ensure our equipment is operating properly.YOU MUST BE 18 or older with a government issued photo ID to receive a piercing.
MINORS *14 and over MUST HAVE
- Photo ID with name (school ID, passport, yearbook photo)
- Birth Certificate (if photo ID is not government issued)
- A Parent or legal guardian PRESENT that is properly identified (government issued photo ID, guardianship papers- proving legal custody)
